The Mind Is Everything, What You Think You Become
The things you think about will determine the quality of your mind.
What you always think and focus on, you become.
Most people are unaware that the things they think will ultimately determine their thoughts, action and behaviour.
I know this because I used to be one of them, I learned about three years ago that your thoughts control your life. If you are focusing on the wrong things, then youll become miserable and unhappy.
Our brains have a negative bias, which is a tendency not only to register a negative stimulus more readily but also to dwell on these events. In other words, it means that we feel the sting of a rebuke more powerfully than we feel the joy of praises.
Its so important to understand this so you become more aware of your emotions and learn not to beat yourself up when something bad happens to you. Its in our nature to dwell to focus on the negativity.
This is why what you think you become, for example, if someone has a victim mindset, they tend to deflect responsibilities for their actions and view themselves as a victim of the actions of others.
This type of mindset stops individuals from growing and progressing in life because they are always a victim; the idea that bad things will always happen to them.
You see what you think and focus on you manifest, for someone with a victim mindset, what they believe they become. When things happen, their brain looks for information to confirm their beliefs, which leads to negative thoughts, translating to how they behave and treat other people.
It becomes a difficult cycle to break out of it without first becoming aware of ones thoughts, action and behaviour.
When you understand that no one is coming to save you and no one cares about your excuses. You are responsible for your life, not others. Blaming and complaining about the things you dont have will never help you get to where you want to go.
Youre braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think.
Learn to reprogram your thoughts because they control your actions and behaviour.
I cant say this enough: how you treat and talk to yourself will either elevate or prevent you from becoming the best YOU.
Believing and saying stuff like I cant or Its impossible for someone like me will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Youll be shortchanging your potential and guaranteeing your own failure.
